Details
Tiny, wrinkles toes and hands, and all the things that make up the experience of giving birth. I like to focus on the arm bands and the stripe blankets too- sometimes it’s in the unglamorous items that we find the most strong memories come flooding back. I like to make sure i get photos of those just in case. -
Feeding
I always try to get feeding images- it is such an intimate act no matter how you choose to do that. Mom nursing, dad feeding- whatever that looks like for your family, capture it. -
Siblings
COVID has made large groups of family visiting an impossibility for now, but if you are able to have siblings come to the hospital, it’s a sweet memory to have. Photograph the first moment they see their new sibling, or sitting with your spouse. -
Snuggles
That fresh baby smell- you can’t photograph a smell but you can photograph what it feels like. Go ahead, breathe in their scan and take a photo of that! That moment is E V E R Y T H I N G. Any and all snuggles are acceptable poses for a Fresh 48. -
Baby Bed
Were you monitored? Get a photo of your monitor. Name plate on the baby bed? Definitely a memory you want. Lay your baby wrapped up in the baby bed and get photos of them sleeping there. After all, its the one and only time they will.
