That Baby Bump Inspo Tho….
This family has been guarding their hearts and protecting someone precious. But, they are finally ready to share their tiny secret. It’s a vulnerable and scary moment, because their story has forever changed. They have weathered the storm, and are standing in the glorious sunshine- a rainbow growing quietly inside, waiting to shine through. Storms come, this is inevitable. It is the hope as you stand in the rain that prepares you for what waits on the other side.
It’s an exciting moment to be able to share these images with you, and hopefully inspire you when you start planning how to announce your new little addition. here are some awesome tips from Bump.com to help get you started!
-
Tell the people you’re closest to first. It can be scary to share this news, but ultimately having the support of people you love is huge, no matter how you choose to move forward.
-
Don’t tell if you’re not ready to tell. It’s that simple. You are allowed to share when you feel safe and ready. Never feel pressured to share if you are not ready to do so.
-
Keep in mind your audience. Do you plan to make a huge announcement? Take professional photos or have a party? Tell people in-person first? Just family and work? There is a lot to consider, but the decision is always yours and how you share is always the best way for you no matter what anyone else thinks.
Another thing moms-to-be often think about is work! How, and when to announce to your co-workers and boss that you are expecting. That was a tough one for me because it felt like I was letting more people in. Somehow, telling family and friends was easier.
But don’t worry! My friends over at Mom Loves Best have got you covered! Check out their awesome guide for telling work you are pregnant- with a FREE email template included!!
