Living in the Houston area, we are lucky that the beach is a spot we can go to pretty much any time of the year. No matter what season it is, Galveston is truly beautiful.
I have fond summer memories as a child of packing up and driving down to the beach. When I got older, I was told that Galveston was “ugly” and “gross”, so I believed it.
And while there may be spots on the beach that are less idyllic than others (just like any city), I am here to tell you I have been shooting on the sands of Galveston Texas for over 10 years and it’s every bit as beautiful as it looks in these pictures.
I can think of exotic locations that are stunning to visit, but there is something so special about having the unique Gulf of Mexico beaches in our own backyard.

This sweet family wanted to document their last hurrah in their family beach house. As a chapter closed, they documented all the little things about being on the water together that mattered. it was truly a magical night!
