Family Photography with Older Children
Ashley Newman Photography
Family photography isn’t just for families with younger children…
Personally, I am in the season with younger kiddos- it’s just where I am at. But it doesn’t mean because your kids are older that you should stop documenting memories, or that the way you document has to change. I’m sure it’s easy to imagine what photos look like when your children are small (play, snuggles, singing songs and playing games), but what does it look like when your children are too old for games?
Easy!! It’s still honest connections, memories and time together!
It’s not always about the games or playing airplane- it’s simply about connections and love.
We will spend unhurried time together, get to know one another and take pictures that share a story. Each season is important.
As a mom, it’s hard to see into the future or imagine what our lives will be like as we walk our journey. You know it’s going to be good and your heart is ready, but I don’t think they knew it would be *this* incredible. While I may not be able to see this far into the future of our family, I do know that these connections are always worth documenting and sharing- no matter how “old” your kids get.
Enjoy this time, friends- your adventure is a dang good one.
While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is about.
