Family Activities In The Woodlands

The Woodlands is rated one of the top 10 places to raise a family in the nation! So it’s no surprise that there are so many family-oriented activities to do here! My own family enjoys the abundance of parks and nature preserves that are local to our area as well as quick access to Houston’s cultural district.
Here are a few of the family activities that we love here locally!

The Play Street Museum– Highly-rated, hands-on learning activities!

The Woodlands Waterway– Connected to local places to eat, fun shops and a large open space for flying kites, running around or just having a simple picnic. We love to go to Town Green Park to relax and spread out! Plus take a ride on the trolley for free!

Pump It Up– You know it, and you love it. Close, jumping, energy-releasing fun.

We Rock The Spectrum– A personal favorite. Being a special needs mom myself, I love the diversity this play place offers with so many different things your child can do in a safe, fun environment.

Kanga’s– Jump some more with your kiddos here- one of my favorite places to go especially with a group.

Woodlands Children’s Museum– Give your kiddos a hands-on learning experience at the local museum. They always have a craft for the day and imaginative play galore!
